There are number of calculable as well as subjective benefits derived from G2. It’s important to note that benefits vary per engagement and with the mix of services rendered. Some G2 benefits:
With 30 years of experience and scores of successful projects, the quality of G2 services is akin to the leading national consulting firms. Yet, our rates are more than 50% lower than industry standards for top tier analysts / consultants.
Reasonable terms
Please see this link to our practical contract terms.
Cost effectiveness
To follow, please find four examples of our cost effective services.
Guaranteed subcontractor profit margin (33% savings)
G2 does not subcontract-out services; we do our own work for your organization. However G2 is happy to be retained as a subcontractor. Under a subcontractor relationship, G2 could be billed out at Research Director (Senior – Analyst / Consultant / Project Manager) rates yet paid less than your billable client rate. Hence, there is an automatic profit margin to all firms that outsource to G2. Hence if your client pays you “3X” per hour, you could retain G2 for “2X” and profit “1X” per hour. In this example, by subcontracting to G2, your firm could profit by 33% of cumulative G2 costs. E.g., If your firm is paid $30,000 for an engagement that you subsequently subcontract to G2, you would really only pay $20,000 to G2, while profiting from the remaining $10,000.
No overhead costs (29% savings)
Because G2 services are typically reimbursed via a 1099, firms not only experience the aforementioned automatic profit margin, but they will not incur the traditional 29% additional fee above base salary for employee benefits, overhead, retirement, workers compensation, insurance and taxes. Hence, if you utilize G2 on a subcontracted basis, you would profit an estimated 33% of all cumulative per diem work, plus another 29% savings for standard yet unrealized – employee expenses. Add this to the already 50% lower market rates and then factor in the savings due to actual billing time (below), and you will begin to grasp the G2 savings.
No headhunter fees
If you retain G2 for a long-term project, you will not only immediately fill your void, but you will do so without the typical 33% cost of a recruiter.
No bonus fee
Because G2 is not an employee, you will forgo the normal 10% – 20% (of base salary) cost for a yearly bonus.
Superior (“Clock Time”) Billing mechanism.
Unlike 99% of other consultants or analysts, G2 does not bill in six to fifteen minute increments. Instead, we bill for actual “clock time”.
Because most projects are iterative in nature and require hundreds if not thousands of “touches” – our billing mechanism could save you vast sums.
Disclaimer: The following figures are for illustrative purposes only and do not necessarily reflect G2 rates. e.g., If a competitor conducts, ten(10) – five (5) minute client tasks, they would typically bill for ten (10) – fifteen (15) minute charges totaling 150 minutes. If your senior level consultant charged $500/hour, this would result in approximately two billable hours or $1,000.
Conversely, G2 would bill for exactly 50 minutes of time at 50% the competitive hourly rate. So in this example, G2 would be cost only $250! Hence, in this scenario, G2 would save your organization 75% of the standard analyst rate! $250 for G2 or $1,000 for your current consultant; the choice is yours!
Superior Business model (Attorney).
Our rates, terms and business model follow a standard attorney model. i.e., One free consult, then our time is billable under a retainer contract. What differs is G2 bills for actual clock time and does not round up as do most attorneys.
New revenue streams.
Often times, management refuses to undertake smaller projects due to staffing or time limitations. G2 could be used to fill this void and in doing so, generate new revenue streams.
Fast turnover.
G2 typically works on one project at a time. In the process, dedicating all focus exclusively to your organizational needs. As a result, all projects are turned over in the shortest duration of time at very high quality standards.
Immediate productivity.
Time is money. Should your firm have an open headcount or a need for consulting services, G2 is poised to be immediately productive with a “Low to No” learning curve.
No supervision.
G2 requires “Low to No” supervision. This means, we free up your administrative time as well as your staff’s. This translates into yet another cost savings to your organization.

Operational Benefits
The second set of G2 benefits relate to various operational cost savings that may not overtly seem quantifiable, but nevertheless bolsters the need for G2 consulting services.
Free-up staff.
G2 is able to manage complex projects and provide sophisticated consulting services that will free-up current staff to better support existing clients or manage important internal operations.
Improve staff morale
Staff turnover, attrition rates and employee morale are often at critical levels. G2 services help mitigate these concerns by allowing any backlogged work to be shifted from already overburdened staff. In the process, improving staff morale.
Lower employee attrition
A secondary benefit of G2 services, is that by improving staff morale, we also help to lower employee attrition. And as you know, replacing any valued employee is a very costly endeavor. Instead of pressuring your staff to “do more with less”, perhaps you should retain G2 and create a win-win situation?
“Glue” to unify needs.
Large projects often require a “worker bee” one level below the project manager and a few levels up from a junior consultant, to act as the “glue” for all frayed ends and open tasks. This position is invaluable to your success, but is often overlooked. G2 is ready to fill this void and is perfectly well positioned to coordinate any task.
Initiate “shelved” projects.
We all have plans for a number of projects that have been laying around collecting dust when we know they could yield a decent ROI. Perhaps you should consider farming out such projects to G2 and realized this revenue stream?
Flexibility.
With 30 years of consulting to blue-chip organizations, G2 is very flexible in the type of engagement with undertake. This flexibility means may mean that one consulting firm could be retained for complex projects that would typically require two or more firms.
Increase project diversity.
By legitimately representing G2 to clients as an “associate” or allowing us to work behind the scenes as a virtual or ghost employee, G2 provides your firm more diverse selection of products and a wider reach to new clients and market sectors.
Ever want to delve into the healthcare market or into a new niche? Ever want to expand product lines to other industries but were afraid to do so for lack of experience? G2 can help.

Less management headaches.
G2 can hit the pavement running and as indicated above, requires no to low supervision. This frees up valuable administrative time and results in less management headaches
Quality Benefits
The third form of G2 benefits relate to various quality enhancements we provide your organization.
Improved products and deliverables.
Existing client products and deliverables are always improved by a neutral third party review. But how often does an organization have the opportunity to utilize a renown analyst to critique their deliverables or audit their initiatives? Use G2 as your “touchstone”!
What’s that? You’ve already contracted with an analyst firm? Great, then use G2 as the “analyst’s analyst” by acting as the intermediary to work with all internal staff and external firms to enhance the quality of your products.
No subcontracting/outsourcing.
As mentioned above, G2 does not subcontract out any client work. As a result, our deliverables are of Ivy League quality.
No junior analysts/staff.
Because we conduct all work, there are no junior analysts or consultants ever working on your projects. Try going to any of the top analyst or consulting firms and ask them who actually conducts the lion’s share of most engagements? Often, a seasoned consultant “fronts” the consulting firm, peddles their wares and then get’s junior staff to conduct the work, while billing you for senior consultant rates. It’s a dirty little secret, that works to our favor.
