This section provides a brief overview of G2 publications. It differs from the prior “Bibliography” in that we are not providing actual writing samples. Instead, we are presenting the type of publications we produce so you may understand our skill set.

Business plans
Business plans are complicated publications that outline your – formal statement of objectives, goals and revenue generating activities over a 3-5 year period of time. Joseph has a strong background in business plan development and has completed many such projects. G2 believes most mHealth organizations lack a cohesive written plan. If this sounds familiar, you may benefit from a chat.
Case studies
Harvard Business School put case studies on the map. A case study is essentially an analysis of a business situation told in a narrative form along with a series of thought provoking comments. It’s different than a custom report in that it is not entirely based on data and isn’t usually the final product of a consulting product. Case studies, especially those prepared by an industry analyst – are an ideal way of presenting examples of how your products have worked in a real-life setting. Consulting reports
At the close of a project, the consultant usually provides a “deliverable” product. This is often a consulting report or a PowerPoint / KeyNote presentation, or both. Dependent upon the client needs, this report or presentation may vary greatly. Regardless of your demands, G2 is here to help prepare custom consulting reports and management presentations. Sponsored reports
A sponsored report is one commissioned by a customer based upon specific requirements. Often it’s on a very narrow topic and has clear client objectives. Dependent upon the client’s whims, these reports may range from several to hundreds of pages. Typically most sponsored reports are 20 – 30 pages in length and include data manipulation of original survey findings. But there’s no clear rules. In short, sponsored reports are used to accent a client’s core competencies and product offerings. i.e., An analyst is hired to write a report that provides credibility to an important client business topic or product.
Hint: You’ll get a ton more mileage if G2 writes your report vs. if you publish it. When you put it in print, it’s called “propaganda” when G2 publishes it, it’s called “An Analyst Report”. Catch our drift (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)?

Market research
Typically, market research reports are written after original survey research has been conducted. The report is then based on a statistical analysis of the respondent’s replies. Joseph has a strong market research background and loves empirical research.

White papers
Joseph has prepared dozens of analyst white papers. Some as long a few hundred pages in length, though most range from 10 – 30 pages.
