The third form of G2 benefits relate to various quality enhancements we provide to your products. As mentioned earlier, our benefits may not be readily quantified in recognizable dollars and cents but nevertheless there is a tangible value to your organization. Given this fact, the following quality benefits should be considered when appraising G2 consulting services. (Click to expand)
Improved products and deliverables
Existing client products and deliverables are always improved by a neutral third party review. This is especially true when working with G2. How often do organizations have the opportunity to utilize a renown analyst to objectively critique their deliverables or assess their initiatives? By utilizing G2 as your “touchstone”, your products and services will no doubt – improve. As will your perceived industry “image” and credibility.
What’s that? You’ve already contracted an analyst firm and do not need G2 services? We respectfully disagree. Perhaps you should consider using G2 as the “analyst’s analyst” by allowing us to become the intermediary between your staff and analyst firms? Let us review their meta-data. Let us review their long reports and distill the “take-aways” for your executives. Let us translate their hyperbolic academic spew into meaningful strategic advice.
We’re happy to work with you directly or with your “agents” to improve the quality of your products.
No subcontracting
As mentioned earlier, G2 does not subcontract or outsource any client work. As a result, our client deliverables are Ivy League quality.
No junior analysts
Because we conduct all work, there are no junior analysts or consultants ever engaged on your projects. Try going to any of the top analyst or consulting firms and ask them who actually conducts the lion’s share of most engagements? Often, a seasoned consultant “fronts” the consulting firm, peddles their wares and then utilizes junior staff (typically a few years out of college) to conduct your project, while billing you senior consultant rates. It’s a dirty little industry secret that works to our favor.
So as you can see, there are a number of ways G2 could improve the quality of your internal products. We can also vastly improve the quality of your deliverables to customers and clients. What does this mean in terms of “hard” dollar savings is anyone’s guess. But we can tell you this — any additional savings over the aforementioned financial and operational ROI’s would be “icing on the cake”.
