IBM Launches Global Small Business Initiative Backed by $100 Million Marketing Campaign

“IBM’s announcement is significant because it represents a complete e-business solution for small businesses. In doing so, it provides a single point of contact for a number of complementary technological and business solutions that, if adopted, help to place small business on a level playing field with larger enterprises,” according to small business technology analyst Joseph Villarosa.

He further added, “IBM had the courage to step back, reevaluate its small business strategy and fill the holes with a new and exciting program that focuses on the core e-business related technology tools needed by today’s small businesses. No other technology vendor has created such a far-reaching program.”
